Changelog

New features and improvements in Ecomenia.

  1. Free shipping per store and per delivery company

Free shipping no longer has to cover the whole store. Each connection now has its own setting.

    What changed

    • Per connected store. In a WooCommerce, Shopify, YouCan or Google Sheets connection, open Orders and turn on Orders from this connection have free shipping. If you run two shops, you can turn it on for one only. An order that arrives with a shipping charge keeps it.
    • Per delivery company. In a delivery company's connection, turn on Customers pay no delivery with this company. Orders sent with it get a shipping cost of 0, and moving an order to another company brings that company's rate back. The order sheet still shows what the company charges you.
    • The store setting is now for orders you create. Orders you create have free shipping in Settings → Orders covers orders made in the dashboard and orders uploaded from a file.

You can still turn free shipping on or off on each order.

  2. Free shipping orders

If your product prices already include delivery, your customers pay nothing extra for shipping, and the delivery company's fee is on you. Ecomenia now handles these orders without manual edits.

    What changed

    • Shipping stays at 0. Choosing or changing the delivery company no longer adds its rate to a free-shipping order, and the total doesn't change.
    • WooCommerce is detected automatically. Orders that used WooCommerce's free shipping method arrive with free shipping turned on.
    • Yalidine collects the right amount. Free-shipping orders are sent to Yalidine without a delivery fee for the customer.
    • You still see the cost. The order sheet shows roughly what the delivery company will charge you.

    How to use it

    • One order: open it and turn on Free shipping under shipping.
    • Orders you create: turn on Orders you create have free shipping in Settings → Orders.
    • Orders from one store or delivery company: see free shipping per connection.

Orders already sent to a delivery company keep their amount, since the courier already has it.
