Terms of Service

Our comprehensive terms of service for using the Ecomenia B2B e-commerce platform, including user responsibilities, service availability, and legal agreements.

Effective Date:August 20, 2025
Last Updated:September 19, 2026

1. Agreement Acceptance

By accessing and using Ecomenia ("Service," "Platform," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access the Service.

2. Service Description

Ecomenia is a B2B e-commerce SaaS platform that provides:

  • Store Management: Individual store workspaces with store identifiers as offered on the Platform
  • Product Catalog Management: Product and inventory tools
  • Order Processing: Order lifecycle management with COD support
  • Team Collaboration: Role-based access control and team management
  • Third-party Integrations: Delivery services, payment methods, and e-commerce platforms as available
  • Analytics and Reporting: Business metrics and performance insights

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Eligibility & Account Creation

  • You must be at least 18 years old or otherwise have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.
  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
  • Accounts may be created by individual entrepreneurs or legal business entities.
  • You may invite team members under role-based access for your stores.
  • You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction when using the Service.

3.2 Accounts, Stores, and Team Access

  • Account holders manage one or more stores and related settings, subject to these Terms.
  • Store owners (or equivalent roles) hold primary administrative privileges for a store.
  • Team members are invited users with limited, role-based permissions.
  • Roles and permissions may vary as described in the product documentation.

3.3 Account Security & Responsibility

  • You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • You must keep your login credentials confidential and secure.
  • We recommend enabling additional sign-in protections when available (for example passkeys or other options we offer).
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access, breach, or suspicious activity.
  • Accounts may not be sold, transferred, or assigned to another party without our written consent.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for unlawful purposes.

3.4 Permitted Use

  • The Service is intended strictly for legitimate business purposes.
  • You may not use the Service for any illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized activity.
  • You agree to comply with all relevant industry standards, policies, and applicable laws.

4. Service Plans and Billing

4.1 Plans and Catalog

  • We publish plans and credit packs on our Pricing page. Names, prices, credit allowances, and features may change with notice.
  • Custom means a negotiated credit volume and/or billing terms only. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, Custom does not include dedicated account management, enterprise SLAs, or capabilities beyond what paid catalog plans already provide.
  • Current rates appear on the Pricing page. These Terms do not lock in prices.

4.2 Billing Periods

  • Paid subscription fees are charged in advance for the plan’s billing period (for example 3, 6, or 12 months, as shown for each plan).
  • A monthly-equivalent price shown on Pricing (for example “/mo”) is for comparison only. It is not a monthly invoice unless a plan is expressly billed monthly.
  • Included subscription credits apply to that billing period, not as a separate monthly allotment unless the plan says otherwise.

4.3 Credit System

  • The platform uses a credit-based system. Typically, each processed order consumes one credit from the store’s available balance (as defined in product documentation).
  • Credits are held in separate buckets:
    • Welcome credits: a one-time bonus for new stores. Amount and validity appear on Pricing or in-product notices (and may change). Unused welcome credits expire when the welcome window ends.
    • Subscription credits: included with a paid plan for the current billing period. Unused subscription credits do not roll over to the next period and may be revoked when the subscription ends or expires.
    • Add-on (pack) credits: one-time purchases. Unless stated otherwise at purchase, add-on credits generally do not expire solely because a billing period ends; they remain available until consumed or the account is terminated under these Terms.
  • When available credits reach zero, credit-consuming order processing is paused until you top up, upgrade, or otherwise restore a balance.

4.4 Payments

  • For merchants in Algeria, payment is currently primarily offline: Baridi Mob, bank transfer, or cash, typically arranged via WhatsApp or another channel we designate.
  • Access and credits for offline purchases are granted after we confirm payment. Failed, incomplete, or disputed payments may delay activation or lead to suspension.
  • Prices may be shown in DZD or other currencies as published. Any currency conversion follows the rates and methods we disclose at purchase.

4.5 Plan Changes, Cancellation, and Refunds

  • On a paid plan, you may request one plan change per billing cycle. Your current plan’s access and remaining subscription credits continue until the end of the current period; the new plan applies at the next successful renewal, unless we state otherwise.
  • Moving from Free to a paid plan starts a new subscription after payment confirmation (typically via the offline flow above).
  • Cancellation: You may cancel anytime. You retain access until the end of the paid period already purchased. We do not charge a cancellation fee.
  • Refunds: Fees are non-refundable after payment is confirmed and service or credits are activated, except where Algerian law requires otherwise or we expressly agree in writing. We do not generally offer pro-rated refunds for unused time or unused credits.
  • Published prices may change with notice. An active paid term is honored until renewal under then-current terms.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy defines the permitted and prohibited uses of the Service. By using the Service, you agree to comply with these requirements.

  • Illegal Products: Sell, promote, or distribute prohibited, illegal, or restricted items.
  • Fraudulent Activities: Engage in scams, pyramid schemes, fake orders, or deceptive practices.
  • Abuse of Services: Circumvent or violate API rate limits, exploit system vulnerabilities, or disrupt the platform.

  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights and licenses to all uploaded content.
  • Content must comply with advertising, marketing, and consumer protection laws.

Certain materials made available through the Service—such as training videos, tutorials, walkthroughs, onboarding or in-dashboard help media, and similar audiovisual materials—may be delivered only to authenticated users behind login or other technical restrictions ("Protected Content"). Materials we intentionally publish for unrestricted public use (for example general marketing pages) are not Protected Content.

In connection with Protected Content, you must not, and must not knowingly enable others to:

  • Download, scrape, or copy Protected Content for use outside the authorized Service experience, except where we provide an official download or export for that asset.
  • Record, capture, or stream Protected Content (including screenshots or screen recording) for redistribution, republication, sale, or sharing with anyone who does not have their own authorized account.
  • Share or re-host Protected Content in a way that bypasses authentication or makes it available to unauthorized recipients.
  • Circumvent access controls or other technical measures we use to protect Protected Content.
  • Use Protected Content to train or fine-tune machine learning or generative AI systems, except where we expressly permit it in writing.

You may not share passwords, passkeys, magic links, sessions, or other credentials to grant access to Protected Content to people who are not bona fide team members or invitees under your account.

Violations may result in suspension or termination, revocation of access, and other remedies available under these Terms and applicable law. Reasonable technical controls may not prevent every copying attempt; these obligations remain contractual either way.

If you believe Protected Content has been shared without authorization, contact us through the legal or support channel on the Site.
